I received my Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, under the supervision of Prof. Varshney,  in May 2002. I am currently an assistant professor in the Computer Science Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Arlington.  My primary research interest is in the area of digital image processing with applications to remote sensing, medical imaging, and computer vision.
