• Computer Systems Architecture, especially design and analysis of distributed storage and file systems, memory hierarchy in multi- and many-core systems, memory management, virtualization;
• Big Data, Cloud and Edge Computing, especially middleware design and development for big data and cloud computing in heterogeneous and data-intensive environments, virtualization techniques, systems support for big data analytics, dynamical load balancing by means of judicious, resource-aware jobs and tasks scheduling, and data consistency and integrity in cloud systems;
