The multimedia research group is a part of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the University of Texas at Arlington. The group primarily focuses in the areas of video compression technologies using MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and H.263 standards, audio-video processing techniques, video streaming, video telephone and conferencing systems.
