I co-direct the iSec research lab, and I have research interests in security and privacy. In particular, I am interested in systems for providing network privacy, location privacy, security and privacy in ubiquitous computing, and secure P2P systems.

  • This Fall, I will be teaching Information Security for undergrads, which is an upper level technical elective, with hands-on exercises like making a virus and using an intrusion detection system.

  • UNT's Steve Tate and Ram Dantu and I have earned an NSF educational grant to develop novel security education, including an online security community, a new security lab at UTA, joint lab exercises, and a regional partnership named ASCENT.
