CSE 4316

Senior Design I Syllabus Doc Library Assignments/Guide Class Materials/Info

Course Objective:

To learn how to develop real world products, the right way, and also learn a lot about the development life-cycle process and yourself along the way!  This is the CSE capstone course, where you put it all together before you tackle the real world.  We will study the product development environment used today in the computer industry, and practice the phased system development process as applied to computer hardware and software design projects.  You will work for two semesters in teams of students.   In CSE 4316 you will prepare and present planning and definition documentation for your design project.  The project will be continued and completed by the same team in CSE 4317 the following semester.

CSE 4317

Course Objective:

To complete the development of your product and deliver a working prototype.   During this semester, we will focus on the tools and techniques required to be successful in the architecture, design, implementation and test phases of a team project.  At the end of the semester, you will demonstrate the results of your efforts in a final presentation to your peers and stakeholders.
