Jeff Lei is a Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas, Arlington. He received his Bachelor's degree from Wuhan University (Special Class for Gifted Young), his Master's degree from Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his PhD degree from North Carolina State University. He was a Member of Technical Staff in Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. for about three years. His research is in the area of automated software analysis, testing and verification, with a current focus on building trustworthy AI-based software systems.
